Sustainability is fundamental to the SIRL brand. We are committed to the ongoing journey of creating a thoroughly responsible business through thoughtful, timeless design, ethical manufacturing and sustainable textiles.

We are proud to say each SIRL piece is made from recycled materials. From ocean waste to fabric, around 8 recycled plastic water bottles are used to make one of our swim shorts.

Plastic water bottles take 450 years to decompose. The REPREVE® recycled material we use minimises this waste by turning the plastic into sustainable recycled fibres. Essentially, this means less junk in the ocean and a more sustainable swimwear option for you!

At SIRL sustainability at every stage is considered, even right down to our recycled woven logos and packaging. Our post satchels are 100% compostable, including their stickers & labels, allowing them to be disposed of in compost or council green bins.

The SIRL difference is our products are not only made from recycled materials but are designed, manufactured and retailed wholly in Australia thereby reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring ongoing Australian employment opportunities.
